You don’t have to finish reading a book in one day but Bookworms’ reading list is so good that you’ll want to! Books are chosen by the people who join us, with help from the library. If you want to add your favourite book to the reading list, whether it’s Rebecca (Daphne du Maurier) or Catch 22 (Joseph Heller), why not join us. We’ll read anything as long as at least one group member recommends it.

We meet on the 1st Monday of every month from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, in Blossoms Room, Age UK Centre, Kings Walk, Earl Shilton, LE9 7NL. You can park in the large, free car park just next door.

 The group leader is Janice.

In the coming months, we’ll read :

  • 6 November: Far from the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy
  • 4 December: Our Missing Heart by Celeste Ng
  •  NOTE – January meeting is moved to second week – 8th January – back to normal for February.
  • Book list for 2024
